Meet Dr. Olusola Wojuola, a devoted Veterinary Doctor whose life has taken an unexpected turn in the face of a relentless nasal tumor. Driven by compassion for animals, he now finds himself in a battle for his own life.
In April 2022, Dr. Wojuola experienced the first signs of this daunting journey – bleeding from his nose. What followed was a courageous struggle, marked by a cancer diagnosis and a series of surgeries, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy.
Despite the initial setbacks, the tumor persisted, prompting further surgeries but undeterred, he underwent a third surgery on January 26, 2024. The good news is this surgery was successful, but the fight is far from over.
Dr. Wojuola’s best chance lies in immunotherapy, a treatment that comes at a considerable cost of 30 million naira. Time is not on our side; he needs to start this vital treatment by February 26, 2024.
